Now that Black Panther has been unleashed and climbed its way right to the top of the box office, all eyes in the Marvel camp are beginning to turn toward a little-known movie called Avengers: Infinity War. Directed by MCU veterans Joe and Anthony Russo, it’s seemingly on the verge of dropping its next and most likely, final trailer ahead of April 27th, which is when it hits theaters.

But that’s not all; earlier this week, we heard that the studio was planning to launch ticket sales this Friday, March 16th, thereby opening up six weeks’ worth of advanced tickets for what is undoubtedly the biggest comic book movie of 2018. At the time, that was nothing more than an unconfirmed rumor hailing from Reddit, but now, we’ve got some confirmation.

Former IGN editor Jeremy Conrad has the scoop, telling us via Twitter today that yes, just as we’ve heard, tickets for Infinity War will be on sale to the general public on Friday at 9am EST. In other words, get those wallets ready, folks, and be sure to be standing by your computers.

And though it’s impossible to say with absolute certainty right now, given that it’s not uncommon for Hollywood’s biggest studios to launch ticket sales in tandem with the reveal of a new trailer, we’d place good money on that final preview arriving at the end of the week, too. Hype begets hype, and all that.

Avengers: Infinity War will wrap up 10 years’ worth of MCU plot threads and storylines when it crashes into theaters on April 27th. And with the marketing blitz now well underway and each and every day bringing us more juicy information, it’s safe to say that there’s never been a better time to be a fan of all things Marvel.
