Justice League notwithstanding, Marvel rocked San Diego Comic-Con two months ago by unveiling the suitably epic first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War.
Alas, unless you were one of the fortunate few in attendance in Hall H, that star-studded promo was quickly yanked off the interwebs, but we’re now hearing that the official reveal isn’t too far away. Word comes from Twitter (with a tip of the hat to MCU Exchange), where one Marvel fan account claimed that Infinity War‘s trailer will be attached to the TV premiere of Inhumans on September 29th.
If true, it’ll be a strange twist of fate – pairing what is undoubtedly one of the most-anticipated comic book movies of all time with a spinoff TV series torn to shreds by critics following its much-touted IMAX premiere. Heck, there’s even been whispers that it’ll be one and done for Marvel’s Royal Family, as ABC is reportedly mulling over the show’s future after only one season.

Regardless of how Inhumans has fared, though, we imagine Marvel and Disney will be aiming big for its Infinity War trailer. As the MCU started to evolve into a box office juggernaut, the Mouse House began splashing the cash in order to partner with leading talk shows and sporting events, and there have even been rumblings of the first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi airing at Monday Night Football on October 9th. Perhaps we can expect a similarly grand reveal for Infinity War?
Either way, Avengers: Infinity War is booked in for release on May 4th, 2018, and to ensure you’re fully up to speed on Marvel’s epic crossover, We Got This Covered recently listed nine things you may not know about Infinity War, its production, and what the Russo Brothers have in store.
