Will Even More Avengers Show Up In Avengers: Age Of Ultron?

Avengers: Age of Ultron will be the biggest movie Marvel has ever released. Bringing together Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) to combat the villainous Ultron (James Spader), it will send shock-waves through every Marvel movie currently in the works, and though its biggest twists and turns are being kept tightly under wraps, that a major character will perish just validates how huge Age of Ultron is. Now, though, it has been revealed that there may be more characters in the mix than we know about already.

Of course, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), War Machine (Don Cheadle), The Vision (Paul Bettany), Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), the Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) are all accounted for already, as is Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). However, thanks an Instagram post from El Mayimbe, the Latino-Review scoopster, the question on everyone’s mind is: who else?

In addition to that mysterious Instagram post, director Joss Whedon sat down with Marvel’s Lorraine Cink to talk about Age of Ultron. The interviewer asked him straight-up, “Will we be seeing Marvel characters who aren’t yet in the preview photos? Are we going to be seeing other Marvel characters that we’ve seen in other films or other parts of the universe?” His maddening reply: “Yes.”

So, who is it? Could Age of Ultron feature Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, one of the Inhumans or even Captain Marvel, whom was previously rumored for this sequel before that was shot down? It seems likely that Spider-Man, still uncast, will be left out until at least Captain America: Civil War, but Marvel has been known to surprise before.

What say you, Marvel fans? Who do you think will be showing up alongside the already announced roster?

All will be answered when Avengers: Age of Ultron dawns on May 1st.
