Three new images from Deadpool have been released today, and as well as giving us another look at the Merc with the Mouth, they also put the spotlight on Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Angel Dust.

While they don’t reveal a whole lot, one of the more interesting things about these photos is the fact that we get another shot of the redesigned X-Men costumes, which marks the first time we’ve seen them since X-Men: Days of Future Past rebooted the timeline.

Along with the images, we also have a few more quotes from leading man Ryan Reynolds. Asked how Deadpool fits into the Marvel and more specifically, X-Men Universe, the actor explained that while there are some big connections between the two franchises (hence why Colossus is making an appearance), they’re also very, very different.

“This film certainly works within the context of the X-Men universe, but it doesn’t necessarily include the sensibilities of an X-Men movie. It’s like taking an X-Men character, pumping him full of LSD and then releasing him back into the fold.”

Yeah, I’d say that sounds just about right for Wade Wilson.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, and Brianna Hildebrand, Deadpool is set to be released on February 12th, 2016.
