San Diego Comic-Con has come and gone and as usual, we were flooded with explosive trailers for all the major upcoming releases. While there was a lot to get excited about, Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon’s Justice League was definitely one of the buzzier films coming out of the event, with Warner Bros. showing off over 4 minutes of footage in a very promising new preview.
Hoping to keep the momentum going, and continuing on with what’s no doubt going to be a massive promotional campaign, the studio has now delivered another trailer. Actually, it’s not so much a trailer as it is an ad showing on Snapchat, which is made up mostly of recycled footage, but it does deliver a sliver of stuff we haven’t seen before. It’s not much, but for a film like this, we’ll take what we can get.
As you can see above, it kicks off with the Dark Knight bringing some friends (read: the League) over to the Batcave, where they’re introduced to Alfred. From there, we get brief flashes of each of the heroes doing their thing before Aquaman closes things out by telling Bruce’s trusty butler that he’s “badass.” It’s short and sweet but does the job and given that there’s a few seconds of new footage, we’d say it’s definitely worth a watch.
With the marketing machine now kicking into gear, we expect a lot more from Justice League to start pouring out shortly, but until that moment, take a look at the new promo above and be sure to leave a comment letting us know what you make of the film so far. Are you excited by what you see, or do those behind the scenes troubles have you worried? Sound off in the usual place!
