First Look At The Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Aquaman Figure

Movie-based toys can often be completely misleading when it comes to what's actually depicted in the film, but from time to time they can give us a pretty good idea about plot points and character appearances, and that might just be the case with this action figure based on Jason Momoa's Aquaman from Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Movie-based toys can often be completely misleading when it comes to what’s actually depicted in the film, but from time to time they can give us a pretty good idea about plot points and character appearances, and that might just be the case with this action figure based on Jason Momoa’s Aquaman from Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

The toy was spotted at Brazil’s Comic Con Experience (CCXP), and considering how close the likenesses of the figures photographed with it are to their live-action counterparts, it’s probably not too much of a stretch to assume this is also how the King of Atlantis will look in the movie.

The first official image of Momoa as Aquaman was derided by some for not looking enough like the comic book version, but as you can see, this figure is much more brightly colored, and even seems to have lighter hair. Again, there’s no guarantee this is how the character will appear on screen – but since the initial image was presented with muted colors anyway, it’s a definite possibility.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice also stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons and Holly Hunter. The follow up to Man Of Steel is scheduled to open March 25, 2016.
