As a writer on all three of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight movies, Davis S. Goyer was heavily involved with bringing a brand new, never-before seen-incarnation of Batman to the screen – and he gets to do the very same again with Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel follow up, Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Goyer is, presumably, one of the few people to have actually seen the finished film in its entirety, and while chatting to him about his work on the third season of Da Vinci’s Demons, Collider asked the writer/exec producer to describe how he felt after seeing it for the first time.

Obviously, he keeps mum where specific details are concerned, but he does describe his”giddiness” at seeing, and having a hand in, these two iconic characters clashing for the first time on the big screen.

I think just the kind of giddiness in being a kid that grew up going to the comic book store every Saturday and reading comic books in which these two epic characters clashed. Just the fact that I got to be involved in something like that is crazy. Much less that I got to be involved in two cinematic iterations of Batman is also crazy.

Praise from someone closely associated with the movie they’re discussing is generally not taken very seriously, but this wouldn’t be the first positive report we’ve heard about Snyder’s flick.
