Anyone else getting really, really sick of how the most talked-about movie of 2015 isn’t even coming out until next year? Regardless, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice never seems to be out of the headlines for long, and as more promo art from the mega-blockbuster continues to leak out onto the Internet, scoopster Umberto Gonzalez has shared our first detailed look at the Batwing that Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader will use to patrol Gotham City.
Gonzalez, known as El Mayimbe, is no longer affiliated with Latino-Review, but he’s in the process of launching his own site and continues to amaze with his unrivalled access to superhero projects housed at Warner Bros. and Marvel Studios alike. This week, he posted the Batwing sneak peek on his official Instagram account – check it out below:
RT! #EXCLUSIVE! #AskElMayimbe Your first detailed look at the #BATWING from #BatmanvSuperman! That’s the logo from my new outlet watermaked on bottom right. For now we’re just a symbol. “People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy and I can’t do that as Bruce Wayne. As a man, I’m flesh and blood, I can be ignored, I can be destroyed; but as a symbol…as a symbol I can be incorruptible, I can be everlasting.” #Batman #HH #dccu #dccomics #dc #dcmovie
No update yet on the meaning of Gonzalez’s ‘HH’ logo, though it will be the new name for his forthcoming solo site. As for the Batwing, it’s a predictably sleek design that seems to indicate Batman may be taking to both the air and the seas, with a vehicle that’s ready to handle both. The teaser trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice showed the Batwing in action, firing on some unknown enemy, but the above image is our first complete look at it.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25, 2016. Leave your thoughts on the new Batwing design below.
