Set to pick up immediately where Chad Stahelski and David Leitch’s sleeper hit left off (read: a bruised Wick limping away from his battle with Viggo Tarasov, new canine companion in tow), Chapter 2 finds our elusive assassin in Rome. Now in the company of some of the greatest and indeed deadliest killers on the planet, Reeves’ stoic protagonist has business to attend to, and though director Stahelski has kept story details under lock and key, it’s safe to assume John Wick’s European excursion involves bloodshed, vengeance, mayhem, and violence – lots and lots of violence.

Now that Leitch has departed for Deadpool 2, Chad Stahelski has been tasked with helming John Wick: Chapter 2 on his lonesome, but the filmmaker is ready to jump in with both feet, even dreaming up early ideas for a potential third installment. Can Lionsgate really stretch Wick’s saga into a trilogy? Right now, it’s too soon to tell. With its intriguing world-building and mesmerizing action sequences, the John Wick of 2014 stands as a difficult act to follow, but we’re confident in Reeves and Stahelski’s ability to deliver a sequel worthy of the Wick name. Joining them for the action are Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Ruby Rose and John Leguizamo.

On February 10, John Wick: Chapter 2 will unleash Keanu Reeves’ one-man reign of terror, at which point Chad Stahelski’s blistering action sequel will be going up against both The LEGO Batman Movie and Fifty Shades Darker.
