Just this week, a new batch of Suicide Squad set photos featuring Will Smith’s Deadshot hit the web, showing the former Fresh Prince in the full costume – mask included – of DC’s deadliest assassin. Now, another stream of leaked pics have arrived, showing not just more Deadshot, but also Task Force X members like Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara’s Katana, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, and our best look yet at Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang.
While recent set pics featured the titular villain team in the streets of Midway City (the home of Hawkman, Hawkgirl and the Doom Patrol), this new batch takes the action back to Gotham. Other notable touches are Deadshot’s iconic eyepiece (which he dons both in and out of the mask) and Killer Croc wearing an alligator skin jacket. I’m not sure if I want to know what the ethical implications of that are, but it’s a nice touch nonetheless.
Joining the aforementioned cast members are Raymond Olubawale (King Shark), Cara Delevingne (The Enchantress), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Scott Eastwood in a secret role and Jared Leto as the Joker.
Task Force X will jump into action when Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5th, 2016.
