Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson Isn’t Afraid Of Facing Thanos

Ever since the first Captain Marvel trailer wowed fans when it was released the other month, it's become a running joke that Avengers: Infinity War's big villain Thanos will head for the hills when he sees Carol Danvers coming for him in Avengers: Endgame. We're desperate to see how the heroine and the Mad Titan face off in the upcoming sequel, and it sounds like it could go something like we think, as actress Brie Larson doesn't seem intimidated by the Infinity Gauntlet-wielding mass murderer.

During an interview with TNT Brazil, the host brought up the fact that we’ve been told that Carol Danvers is the most powerful hero in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe – yep, more powerful than Thor, Doctor Strange and even Hawkeye. In response to this, the interviewer pointed to his Thanos T-shirt and inquired if Larson thought that the bad guy posed a threat to her character, considering her power level. Not phased at all, Larson replied: “He looks kinda shrimpy to me.”

Check out the hilarious response in the video below:

From what we know about Captain Danvers, Larson’s confident reaction seems to fit the bill. The actress herself has teased that Captain Marvel can move planets. What’s the best Thanos has done? Moved parts of a moon when attacking the Avengers on Titan? Pfft!

Sure, his all-powerful gauntlet might have proved a problem, but we’re pretty sure that thing’s out of action now. Yeah, the rest of the surviving heroes might as well just take it easy and let Carol go off to Thanos’ farm and take him down on her lonesome.

After years of waiting, we’ll finally get to see Captain Marvel make her mark on the MCU on March 8th. She’ll then return the very next month when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
