From a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot of Diana’s Lasso of Truth to that really rather awesome slow-mo sequence, as far as teasers for trailers go, this one stands on its own fairly well. Before the screen cuts to black, the action quickly jumps to the beaches of Themyscira, where one of Wonder Woman‘s close allies is seen leaping above a WWI soldier before loosing not one, but two arrows in his direction. Well, DC brass have promised “kickass” action in the past.

Though Trailer Track initially claimed Wonder Woman‘s second trailer would arrive in tandem with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in two weeks’ time, Warner Bros. has decided to roll out new footage a little earlier than expected. The full shebang will run for 2:24, apparently, with all signs pointing to the official unveiling being some time tomorrow morning.

The real question now is, can Wonder Woman succeed where others (read: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad) have stumbled? A more optimistic tone will certainly be a welcome change of pace, but it’ll be fascinating to see how audiences take to Patty Jenkins’ standalone pic.

Wonder Woman is due to grace theaters on June 2, 2017. Check back to We Got This Covered tomorrow, November 3, when we’ll have a full breakdown on the movie’s second full-length trailer.
