After seeing a few set photos of Natalie Portman and Christian Bale in Terrence Malick’s Knight Of Cups, today we have our first look at another one of the film’s stars, Cate Blanchett. The photos, which come to us via The Daily Mail, feature Blanchett in doctor’s scrubs, alongside Bale.
Not much is known about the film but we do know the film’s obscure title most likely has something to do with the tarot card by the same name, which “represents a contradiction, moodshift or a change of mode particularly as it pertains to love and relationships.” Set photos in the past featuring Bale outside what seems to be a fortune-teller have led us to that conclusion.
Other than that though we really know next to nothing about the film, as is usually the case with Terrence Malick movies.
Knight Of Cups stars Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Cate Blanchett, Isabel Lucas and Wes Bentley, and is eyeing a 2013 release.
