Of course, VFX work has become so impressive in recent years that it’s easy not to appreciate it, especially as it’s often so seamless. The whole thing is pretty fascinating, but chances are it won’t change anyone’s mind on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. The movie was what it was and all eyes are now on Justice League and, to a lesser extent, Wonder Woman to “fix” the DC Extended Universe. Despite that, it’s clear Snyder put a lot of work in here, and it’s hard not to wonder why that ultimately wasn’t something many reviewers acknowledged.

Regardless of your stance on the movie, the video above really is well worth checking out, especially if you’re at all curious about the process which went into bringing the world shared by the Man of Steel and Caped Crusader to life in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
