Here’s How Daisy Ridley Could Look As The DCEU’s Batgirl

In her short career, Daisy Ridley's already made quite an impression on the Star Wars community. Having played Rey since J.J. The 27-year-old actress has certainly proven herself capable of not only handling big-name roles, but also action-packed ones. So, if the studio decides to go ahead with her, we’ll certainly be happy.

But the recent news of Ridley’s consideration for the part’s apparently inspired digital artist Mizuri. Taking to Instagram, they went ahead and drafted an idea of what this could look like, and you can check it out for yourself below.

The suit, based on the one used in Rocksteady’s Arkham Knight game, looks to be the perfect match for Ridley, who’s been given a little touchup with Babs’ trademark red hair.

Of course, this is no indication that the role belongs to The Rise of Skywalker star. Warner Bros. again has yet to make an official decision, but it seems that 13 Reasons Why lead Katherine Langford looks to be another contender. And beyond that, Kristen Stewart, Emma Stone and Hailee Steinfeld’s names have all been tossed around for the part, too.

But who’s going to play the character isn’t the only piece we don’t have to this puzzle. As of right now, the only known participant on the project is writer Christina Hodson, whose been taking the film in a new direction after Joss Whedon’s creative tank went dry.

So, while we wait to hear the news on who the next Batgirl‘s going to be, tell us, what are your thoughts? Do you like Ridley in Gotham, or should she stay up in the stars? Let us know what you’re thinking in the comments section below.
