Next year's Star Wars Celebration is set to place from August 27-30 at the Anaheim Convention Center, right across the street from Disneyland.

The annual Star Wars Celebration is the perfect place for fans from all over our galaxy to celebrate the one far, far away. And now, the world’s biggest Star Wars convention has zeroed in on its next place of refuge.

After bouncing around from London, Orlando, and most recently, Chicago, Star Wars Celebration 2020 will be returning to Anaheim, California next year from August 27-30th, 2020.

Taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center right across the street from Disneyland, this decision’s obviously based, or at the very least correlated, around the theme park’s most recent addition, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. So there’ll be a lot more Star Wars things for fans to do outside the convention, and a lot more money for the House of Mouse to pick up.

This move towards nearby attractions makes a lot of sense following the wealth of things to do at last year’s celebration. The lucky attendees got a first look at footage from the upcoming live-action Disney+ series The Mandalorian, as well as the opportunity to attend a 20th anniversary panel for Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

Oh, and did I forget to mention The Rise of Skywalker trailer premiere, as well as the surprise on-stage appearance by Emperor Palpatine himself, Ian McDiarmid? Well yeah, there was all that, too.

But even if the Skywalker saga’s coming to an end, Star Wars Celebration’s always the go-to place for major updates and exciting trivia. Here’s the official description of what fans can expect:

Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2020 will be four fun-filled days of major announcements, immersive exhibits, an interactive show floor, screenings, exclusive merchandise, celebrity guests, panels, autograph sessions, fan-inspired activities, costumes, and other surprises. From young fans of Star Wars animated shows to die-hards fueled by the nostalgia for the original Star Wars trilogy to families that enjoy Star Wars together, there’s something for everyone at Star Wars Celebration. For Star Wars fans, there’s nothing else like it.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars, Star Wars fans, because tickets for Celebration will be going on sale in less than two weeks! You’ll be able to purchase your spot at the galaxy’s hottest event on June 21st at 9am, and hotel blocks will go on sale an hour later at 10am.
