Christopher Nolan is putting the finishing touches on the cast for his upcoming sci-fi film, Interstellar. With production set to begin very shortly, most of the main cast is already locked in. Names like Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck, Michael Caine and Topher Grace make up this very impressive lineup and now, we’re hearing of two more actors who have signed on.

David Oyelowo and David Gyasi, who starred together in Red Tails, have come on board the project. Their roles have not been disclosed, obviously, but both are talented individuals who will no doubt be a nice addition to the cast.

Oyelowo has shown up recently in Lincoln and Jack Reacher while Gyasi will be seen next in Lee Daniels’ The Butler and even had a small part in The Dark Knight Rises.

Even with the cast all set, we really know very little about the film. Scripted by Nolan and his brother Jonathan, all we’re being told is that the story is based off ideas from physicist Kip Thorn and will tell a “complex and multi-layered” story of “a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest borders of our scientific understanding.”

It certainly sounds intriguing and knowing Christopher Nolan, this is no doubt going to be a pretty mind-boggling film. We likely won’t know exactly what we’re in for until much closer to release but for now, we can always speculate.

Interstellar arrives in theatres on November 7th, 2014. Mark your calendar now folks, this is going to be quite the film.
