Avengers Endgame

Marvel Comics May Reveal How [SPOILERS] Can Return After Avengers: Endgame

With Avengers: Endgame projected to break the $350 million mark in its opening weekend, and soaring past $1 billion globally, it's no surprise that fans are already starting to look towards the future. Walking out of the theater was tough, because it was difficult to see anything happening in the MCU past Endgame. But you know it will, with that kind of dough at stake, and losing the heroes we did in the movie, theories are already being pieced together on how we can get them back.

We know that artificial intelligence plays a big role in Marvel films, and really all superhero films. In fact, it seems that AI just might play a part in bringing back the character who made one of the biggest sacrifices in Endgame: Tony Stark. If the Marvel comics have anything to say about it, and they usually do, Iron Man might actually be returning soon.

The folks over at Inverse brought the possibility to light that AI will enable Tony to return to help a new team of heroes. After all, we already saw it during his funeral, as he was wisecracking like he was actually there with his family and friends, only as a holograph. The guy practically revolutionized AI, too, so how hard is it to believe that Tony’s consciousness isn’t already uploaded somewhere? Seeing HoloTony help kill aliens would be an absolute blast, don’t you think?

Furthermore, in the comics, we meet female hero Riri Williams, AKA Ironheart, who takes on the Iron Man mantle with the help of a holographic Tony. An all-female Avengers movie may or may not be in the MCU’s future, but this might just be how we get our beloved Iron Man back, along with a new Iron Lad/Heart/Kid.

Tell us, though, does the prospect of an AI Tony returning for more Marvel movies help ease your pain after watching Avengers: Endgame? Let us know in the comments section down below.
