As part of 20th Century Fox’s 12 Days of Deadpool marketing blitz for their upcoming big-screen take on the popular Marvel Comics nut job, they’ve released the following batch of emojis. They feature lots of variations of the Merc With A Mouth, as well as a few cute little ones of X-Men character Colossus, and Wade Wilson’s housemate/prisoner, Blind Al. Plus, there’s a few cats thrown in for good measure.
This is definitely a very clever marketing strategy for the film, though there have been complaints from fans having trouble downloading the emojis. If you want to give it a go, however, they’re available for Apple devices HERE, and from Google Play HERE.
The #12DaysOfDeadpool will conclude with the release of the brand new trailer on Christmas day. We’ll have it for you as soon as it’s available, so be sure to stay tuned!
Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds as the titular Merc with a Mouth, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Ed Skrein as Ajax, Gina Carano as Angel Dust and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead. The Tim Miller-directed movie is set to be released on February 12th, 2016.
