This trailer for Dream House, from director Jim Sheridan of In America, features fantastic actors – like Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Naomi Watts – spooky sequences, and revealing information involving a major plot twist. Seriously, there are major spoilers here and if you’re not into that kind of thing, I’d advise skipping this.

In the trailer for Dream House, we meet Craig and Weisz’s characters, husband and wife (just like in real life), who live in a big ‘ole house with their two appropriately adorable daughters.

They soon learn that the previous occupants of the house were brutally murdered, and their house seems to be consequently haunted. There isn’t really much else to say without seemingly giving away the story, but watch the trailer if you want to know the rest of the main plot.

Regardless of whether this trailer was wildly risky or not, it’s still effectively scary and shows off the film’s impressive talent. I’m excited to see how it turns out and if the finished product is just as creepy as what we see here.

The film will finally be released on September 30th, after it was pushed back to fit around Daniel Craig’s schedule.
