Eli Roth To Produce Clown

Say what you want about him but the man hasn’t made a truly bad movie, save for Hostel 2. Not too sure about the “master or horror“ title though. Now news has surfaced that Eli Roth has produced Clown, a movie about a man who has to dress like a clown for his son’s birthday party only to find the makeup, hair, nose, etc not only can’t be taken off, but won’t allow him to.

I freaking hate clowns, not really scared of them, just hate them. I blame IT, even though it’s quite ridiculous. If I had seen the images off this movie when I was a kid instead of IT, I’m pretty sure I would have had to sit through therapy. This could be really interesting.

A fake trailer surfaced on the internet a while back and the filmmakers used Eli Roth’s name in it. This caught Roth’s attention, he was quoted as saying:

“I was blown away when I saw that Clown trailer. Everyone thought it was real, or that I had at least made a fake trailer. I called the guys right away and their first response was ‘Thank you for not suing us!’  I said ‘Sue you?  Let’s make this into a real film!’ ”
