Ewan McGregor’s Black Mask Will Go Fully Nude In Birds Of Prey

According to sources close to We Got This Covered, Ewan McGregor will go fully nude in DC's upcoming Birds of Prey movie.

Warner Bros.’ upcoming Birds of Prey is already making waves and it’s still quite a ways away from reaching cinemas. That’s mostly due to the expected blockbuster looking to be the first major superhero movie to feature a prominent gay character.

Yes, as you no doubt know by now, Ewan McGregor’s Black Mask, the main antagonist, will be portrayed as homosexual. From what we understand, his sexuality won’t be explicitly stated, but there will be clear sexual tension between him and fellow baddie Victor Zsasz that’s said to be palpable. Not to mention that he’ll also act quite flamboyantly, from what we’ve been told. But that’s not all.

Apparently, the villain will also be seen fully nude in Birds of Prey, and by “fully,” we do mean fully. According to multiple sources close to the studio, there will be a scene where we see photos of Black Mask that show him in only his birthday suit, with full frontal nudity on display.

Now, given that it’s just pictures that show the character naked, it’s unclear if it’s actually McGregor in the photographs. While there’s a chance that the actor did indeed do the nudity himself, it’s also possible that it’s just a double, with McGregor’s head being placed onto someone else’s body. After all, we’ve seen this happen across many different films and TV shows over the years.

In any case, it’s interesting to learn that a comic book movie will be featuring full frontal nudity, and full frontal male nudity at that. We did hear that Birds of Prey was going for an R-rating, but it sounds as if it’ll really be taking things as far as it can, as the pic is said to be extremely bloody and violent, too. In other words, this is going to be unlike anything else in the genre and we can’t wait to see how it turns out.
