With The Expendables 2 just around the corner (hitting theatres on August 17th), Lionsgate has released a quick, one minute featurette taking us behind the scenes. While it’s not going to change your opinion on the film one way or another, it’s still worth a watch for those anticipating the upcoming sequel.

Boasting a cast of action film legends that includes names like Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jason Statham, Chuck Norris, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and more, expect The Expendables 2 to follow its predecessor pretty closely.

Of course, this being a sequel, everything should be amped up a bit. Bigger guns, bigger explosions, bigger muscles etc., you know the deal. If you enjoyed the first film then you shouldn’t have any trouble getting through this one.

Personally, I had a ton of fun watching The Expendables and the Simon West-helmed sequel is looking great so far. While the new cast members are what have me most excited, just seeing everyone from the first film back on screen together again is more than enough to get me in the theatre.

The Expendables 2 stars Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jason Statham, Yu Nan, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Liam Hemsworth, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. It will hit theatres on August 17th.
