Actually, most of those heroes I just named went on to adopt other personas such as Nightwing, Red Robin and Batgirl, but today’s discussion will center on Jason Todd, now known as the Red Hood.

Originally murdered by the Joker back in A Death in the Family during the 1980’s, the second lad to adopt the moniker of Robin was resurrected in the controversial, yet legendary, Under the Red Hood nearly twenty years later (time passes differently in comic book land). Usurping the Red Hood alias from the Clown Prince of Crime’s days predating his (more) flamboyant days, Todd has since emerged as one of DC’s premier anti-heroes.

Oddly enough, though, Jason hasn’t been invited to the party outside of literature very often, save for animated appearances like those witnessed in an adaptation of the aforementioned Under the Red Hood and Batman Ninja. True, there is word on the street saying he’ll pop up in the upcoming live action Titans series, but odds are he’ll be in his pre-Robin years.

But should he ever arrive in the DC Extended Universe (fingers crossed), talented digital artists are giving us an idea of what he could look like. In this case, a piece drawn up by Datrinti (above) has been making its rounds over on Reddit. And though no specific actor seemed to be in mind, this serves as a wonderful blueprint for what a hypothetical movie could achieve.

Tell us, do you want to see the Red Hood on the silver screen? If so, who would you cast in the role? Sound off in the usual place below!
