Much to the disappointment of Marvel fans everywhere, Spider-Man: Far From Home star Tom Holland appears to be learning some restraint, as the actor failed to deliver any Avengers: Endgame spoilers even while under the influence of anesthetics.

Earlier this week, Holland underwent surgery to have all four of his wisdom teeth removed, and in a video shared on social media, the actor was visibly dazed in the aftermath. Sensing this vulnerability, many fans were hopeful that Holland would go all Walter White in the season 2 finale of Breaking Bad and start spilling secrets in his drugged up state. Sadly, social media users found that the notorious blabbermouth was unresponsive to their calls for spoilers.

In Holland’s defense, it’s been a while now since the star has dropped any major intel on upcoming MCU releases, with perhaps the last big reveal being back in June when he gave away the title of Far From Home – and even that slip was most likely coordinated with the studio beforehand.

What’s more, it sounds like Marvel Studios is doing a pretty effective job minimizing the number of Endgame secrets that the cast members have to spill. For one thing, multiple actors have admitted to not knowing the film’s official title prior to this month’s reveal, and actress Karen Gillan has even claimed that she hasn’t seen a full script for the movie. And speaking of scripts, Avengers: Infinity War co-director Joe Russo revealed earlier this year that the cast was given fake screenplays for the pic after they realized how spoiler-prone Holland was.

With all this secrecy and deceit, perhaps Sebastian Stan isn’t even lying when he says that he doesn’t know if he’s in Avengers: Endgame. Nonetheless, we’ll find out what secrets Marvel has been so careful about hiding when the film hits theaters on April 26th, 2019, followed by Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5th.
