“Every Battle, Hero, Loss, Victory, Sacrifice Has Led to This,” reads the text that comes flashing across the screen in big block letters. Meanwhile, the visuals offer a barrage of mostly familiar but partly new footage from the Avengers: Infinity War sequel, climaxing with a shot of Thanos backed by an extra-terrestrial army.

Indeed, it’s all been building up to the team’s final clash with the Mad Titan, and it’s expected that this week’s release will serve as the last hurrah for some of the MCU’s biggest stars. Iron Man and Captain America in particular are generally assumed to be dropping out of the saga with this next film, and many fans are currently worried that they won’t exactly be riding off into the sunset.

Of course, at this point, the spoilers are very much out there for anyone to find, seeing how the film is already at the end of its first day in China, among other regions. So far, Endgame’s theatrical run has been every bit as successful as expected, with the movie grossing over $100 million in the Middle Kingdom in less than 24 hours.

What’s more, the film is predicted to do very well for itself when it arrives in North America later this week. As it stands, Avengers: Endgame is expected to beat the domestic opening weekend record set by Avengers: Infinity War, and may even pass the $300 million mark in its first three days. Either way, you can judge for yourself if the movie is worth all the hype when it arrives in theaters on April 26th.
