In just under two months, we’ll be settling down in our seats to watch the latest installment in J.K. Rowling’s beloved world of witchcraft and wizardry, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. And, to whet our appetites and get us hyped up just that little bit more, tomorrow will see the final trailer for the film hit the internet. An exact time hasn’t been revealed, but presumably, it’ll be in the morning.
WB will have to do a lot to top the previous promo, which sent the fan community into a collective orgasm of joy by revealing our first look at Hogwarts since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 way back in 2011. Hopefully, this new preview will give us plenty of fresh footage to pore over. I’m particularly hoping for more of Jude Law as young(ish) Dumbledore and maybe a bit more of magical Paris, particularly the curiosity show that looks to be a major set piece.

Whatever happens, things are about to step up a notch for Newt Scamander and co. with the escape of notorious dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, whose portrayal by Johnny Depp was glimpsed in the closing scenes of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The sequel will apparently see him gathering new followers in an attempt to gain dominion over both the Wizarding and Muggle world. Stepping into the middle of this is Albus Dumbledore, who has to balance his feelings towards Grindelwald with his mission to stop him at any cost.
With the film already the most anticipated release of the Fall according to a poll by Fandango (running a close second is the Freddie Mercury and Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, with Venom in third place), it looks like Fantastic Beasts: The Crime of Grindelwald is going to easily equal the success of the original, with a decent chance of leaving it in the dust altogether.
