New Footage And Runtime Revealed For Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

With all the hype and buzz swirling around J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens right now, you’d be forgiven for temporarily forgetting about another juggernaut film that’s soon to hit theatres: Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

With just over three months to go until Warner Bros.’ superhero showdown is with us, the marketing machine is continuing on full steam ahead, and today, we have a brand new promo. Though it’s in German, the spot does give us a bit more footage to feast on. It’s not much, but when it comes to a film like this, I think we’ll all agree that we’ll take what we can get.

In addition to the spot, the official runtime for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has been revealed. According to a German ticket website, the film will be 151 minutes. That may seem long, but for a movie like this, where tons of groundwork has to be laid for the DC Extended Universe, it definitely makes sense that they need a lot of time. Plus, there are a whole host of new characters being introduced here as well, so giving them some breathing room is certainly a smart move.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is slated to hit theaters on March 25, 2016. Until then, have a look at the new promo above and let us know if you’re ready for 151 minutes of epicness.
