While the summer season of movie releases can frankly go to hell, the fall season is to be welcomed with open arms as the range and quality of material coming our way come September may just save 2011. Soderbergh’s Contagion is up there as one of the anticipated films this season and I personally am dying for a look at it.
Entertainment Tonight has premiered some footage that showcases a few intriguing little snippets from the upcoming virus thriller, which is said to be similarly structured to the Oscar winning Traffic.
This little snap of the film confirms that there may very well be a trailer on the way. The film directed by Soderbergh and written by his Informant! collaborator Scott Z. Burns.
The cast boasts some impressive names such as Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard, Laurence Fishburne and Gwyneth Paltrow. Not bad eh? Check out the clip below and see what you think, it’s not much but there is likely more to come in the near future.
Contagion will be released on September 9th.
