Helping to sate our appetites in recent memory have been the official unveilings of the Amazon Warrior’s new costume, as well as her next nemesis, the Cheetah. Well, technically, director Patty Jenkins has only yet to show off Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva, the human side of the equation, but we’re guessing we’ll see what she looks like in bestial form before long.

As for what’s to be discussed today, the latest exhibits to be witnessed are that of some set photos showing Gal Gadot and Chris Pine reprising their respective roles as Diana Prince and Steve Trevor. To be honest, I’m somewhat hesitant in calling the latter “Steve Trevor” because I think there’s going to be a surprising twist involving him, but that’s a debate for a later date.

Getting back to the topic at hand, the folks at Just Jared managed to snap a few shots of the two apparently hailing a cab in one scene. From the look of it, Diana seems to be in a good mood, but Steve appears as though he’s ready to get the hell out of there. Because of this, it’s being assumed they’re on the run for some reason.

If anything, these images continue illustrating how on point the costuming department have been when it comes to capturing the time period. Really, I can’t help smiling when seeing Pine rocking that fanny pack. Come to think of it, he just gave cosplayers on a budget something to strive for at upcoming conventions.

Wonder Woman 1984 arrives in theaters on November 1st, 2019.
