Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman Graces The Cover Of Empire Magazine

Imbued with courage, wisdom, grace and of course, wonder, Gal Gadot's title heroine stands tall on the latest Empire cover for Wonder Woman.

If Empire’s March issue was reserved for Logan and Wolverine’s last hurrah, the outlet’s latest cover hails from the other end of the superhero spectrum. Replacing a haggard anti-hero with a graceful female warrior, a swan song with a bona fide origin story, Empire has now ushered Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman into the spotlight in time for its April issue – and it’s a doozy.

First spotted by CBM, consider this an unofficial preview of Empire’s latest issue, given that it’s been uploaded by one subscriber who was fortunate enough to receive their copy ahead of schedule. The outlet is yet to release the official high-res version at the time of writing, but we’ll be sure to update this post if and when Empire lifts the lid on next month’s copy.

Speaking of new releases, it would seem the latest – and seemingly final – trailer for Wonder Woman is looming large on the horizon. Rumored to be attached to the release of James Mangold’s Logan on March 3rd, there’s a good chance Warner’s final sizzle reel will, at long last, cast light on Ares, DC Comics’ God of War reportedly played by Harry Potter veteran David Thewlis. Will those reports hold true? Either way, we’ll have the new WW trailer for you here on We Got This Covered the moment it drops.

Wonder Woman graces theaters on June 2nd. It’s one of two major DC tentpoles earmarked for 2017, with Zack Snyder’s star-studded Justice League being the second. Pegged for November 17th, it’ll herald the long-awaited union of DC’s finest heroes, including Gadot’s Amazonian, Batman (Ben Affleck) Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and of course, Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel.
