Luis Gets Recruited In Hilarious New Ant-Man And The Wasp Clip

x

In this new clip from Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) are forced to turn to Scott’s ex-con pals Luis (Michael Pena), Kurt (David Dastmalchian) and Dave (Tip “T.I.” Harris) for help once again. They should know you’ll never get a straight answer out of Luis, though, and hilarity soon ensues in the short 60-second clip.

Of course, Luis was a highlight for many fans in 2015’s Ant-Man. Despite being a criminal and former jail bird, he has an endlessly cheery and chatty disposition, most known for his fast-talking ways which made his tangent-filled stories and anecdotes hilariously hard to follow. It sounds like he’ll be up to his old tricks again in the sequel, too, as this clip sees him talking about the best way to eat oatmeal with his friends while Team Ant-Man are trying to get down to business.

Scott himself gets distracted too, however, when he realizes how tiny the desk Luis has given him is. It seems his old pals have managed to get their own security business going – named X-Con – and they saved a space for him on the payroll, even though he’s been under house arrest for siding with Steve Rogers’ band of fugitive vigilantes in Captain America: Civil War. Luis still could have got Scott a better desk than one from a rummage sale, though.

First reactions for Ant-Man and the Wasp have been very positive, with those lucky enough to have seen it already calling the sequel “tremendous,” “absolutely hysterical” and “totally bonkers and brilliant.” We’ll get to judge for ourselves if all that’s true when it flies into cinemas on July 6th. And make sure to stay for those two post-credits scenes, as they could well tie into Infinity War and help set up Avengers 4.
