Go Behind The Scenes Of Alien: Covenant With This New Image

Though production is now well underway on Ridley Scott's Prometheus sequel, Alien: Covenant, we really haven't seen much in the way of official promo material for it. Though production is now well underway on Ridley Scott’s Prometheus sequel, Alien: Covenant, we really haven’t seen much in the way of official promo material for it. We got that one image of star Katherine Waterson a while back, and saw some set photos not too long ago, but other than that, all has been quiet.

That’s changing today, though, as we now have another photo to feast our eyes on. Not revealing very much, if anything at all, it’s simply a behind the scenes shot of Scott and his cast and crew, with Michael Fassbender standing near him and listening attentively.

So yeah, it’s not much, and really doesn’t tell us anything more about the film. At this stage though, we’ll take what we can get. As divisive as Prometheus was, almost everyone is at the very least, awfully curious, to see where Scott takes his franchise next.

We’ve heard that the sets are going to be fantastic and that the violence and gore is going to be pretty extreme, so we’re definitely hoping for another terrifying space-set tale. Plus, from everything we’ve heard from the director so far, it seems that he’s acknowledged the mistakes made in Prometheus and is all set to rectify them – so let’s hope that he does just that.

Aside from the aforementioned Fassbender and Waterson, Alien: Covenant also stars Danny McBride, Demian Bichir, Alex England and Billy Crudup, among others. It’ll jump into theatres on August 4th, 2017.
