“From the end credits to the endgame…”
All roads lead to this. After 10 years and 21 movies – Captain Marvel included – the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to reach its first true climax in the form of Avengers: Endgame, a movie so big, theaters across the globe can barely keep up with the demand.
The MCU juggernaut continues to smash pre-sale records, with analysts now predicting a suitably huge $300M opening weekend in North America alone. Frankly, no other film comes close, and with Endgame currently staging its world premiere in Los Angeles, Marvel Studios has collected every single MCU post-credits scene and brought them together under the one umbrella: a Twitter thread.

From the end credits to the endgame…

This thread even includes the official post-credits scene for Captain Marvel, which is remarkable in and of itself considering the Brie Larson spinoff is still playing in select theaters across the globe. Its total cume now stands at $1.09 billion, placing it just behind Captain America: Civil War on the MCU standings. And what was that about a female-fronted MCU movie being doomed to failure? Yeah, fat chance; Carol Danvers is here to stay, thank the heavens.
Because Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will need all the help they can muster if they’re to defeat Thanos once and for all. They couldn’t live with their own failure, so instead of moping around in the depths of self-pity, they launch the world’s biggest counter-attack. And it’s one that may well determine the future of the MCU beyond 2019.
