Hilarious New Video Asks What If Captain Marvel Was In Avengers: Infinity War?

Things went about as bad as they could for Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Infinity War. Even with practically every superhero in the universe committed to stopping Thanos, they still lost. What they really needed was another big-hitter like Captain Marvel, who won't be introduced into the MCU until her first solo movie next March. But what would've happened if Brie Larson's heroine turned up a little earlier? Well, that's what this hilarious new video endeavors to find out.

YouTuber Aldo Jones’ clip rewrites the events of Infinity War so that Nick Fury and Maria Hill get wind of the battle in Wakanda before it’s too late and call Captain Marvel on that high-tech pager thingy in time for her to swoop down and join Thor for that final facedown against the Mad Titan. As you’d expect, she turns out to be pretty helpful.

Yup, all it took was one mean right hook from Carol Danvers and Thanos went straight down. Hey, this woman isn’t to be messed with. She took out an old lady on a subway train, remember? Plus, we’re told that she can move planets, too. The Mad Titan only managed to move some fragments of a moon.

When the first trailer for Captain Marvel came out last month, fans were blown away with how awesome the hero looked and it became a meme that “she will defeat Thanos.” Now, Carol will get the chance to make that meme come true in Avengers 4, which will give us what we’re all waiting for as it’ll see her team up with the remaining heroes and take down the Mad Titan once and for all.
