The public has already been privy to their first set photo from the upcoming Fast and Furious spinoff, and now’s the time to get a glimpse at the real thing, as the two title characters look like they’re already wondering if this pair-up was a mistake.

The image comes via the Instagram account of Luke Hobbs himself, Dwayne Johnson, who had a few confrontational words to add, while seeming pretty pumped after the team’s first week of shooting:

“FIRST LOOK: HOBBS & SHAW.

We either gonna get along or we gonna get it on.

Fuck getting along ?

Great first week of shooting our Fast & Furious spin-off, “HOBBS & SHAW” with my ace @jasonstatham.

We’re havin’ a blast disrupting the norm to deliver something fresh, cool, fun and bad ass for the fans.

The last we heard from the Fast and Furious franchise was 2017’s The Fate of the Furious, and while that installment was neither a fan favorite nor a critical darling, the series has certainly bounced back from worse-received entries.

As for what to expect from this next film, details remain thin on the content of Chris Morgan’s script, but it sounds like Idris Elba will be playing the villain of the piece. In the face of this new danger, you’d think that the pic’s titular pair could probably put aside whatever’s keeping them mad in this photo, but based on Johnson’s post, you can more likely expect a pretty tense relationship between them. Weren’t these movies supposed to be about family?

Johnson himself previously expressed an interest in expanding the franchise, and hopefully Hobbs and Shaw will serve as more than just a retread of the Fast and Furious films but with a smaller cast. That being said, surely director David Leitch can deliver a few physics-defying spectacles when the movie hits theaters on August 2nd, 2019.
