Hugh Jackman Is On The Run In New Set Photos From The Wolverine 3

Things seem to be moving along at a nice pace for The Wolverine 3 – or is it being called Wolverine: Weapon X now? Whatever the final moniker will end up as, the next film in the series is currently shooting in New Orleans and set photos have been coming in at an alarming rate.

Over the weekend we saw a batch that featured what appeared to be X-23 (we also got some information on the character via a casting breakdown). Now, another collection of photos has landed online and while X-23 doesn’t seem to be present here, we do get a good look at star Hugh Jackman, who appears to be on the run from an unknown threat (could it be Mr. Sinister?)

While we do know that the film is drawing inspiration from Mark Millar and Steve McNiven’s Old Man Logan storyline, it’s hard to say who exactly is chasing down Wolvie here. We’ve heard that the script isn’t staying very faithful to the source material and right now, all we can do is speculate.

Regardless, everything we’ve heard and seen from the film so far sounds great, and it’s probably just a matter of time now before something official makes its way online, either in the form of an image or video. Whenever that happens, we’ll be sure to let you know.

The Wolverine 3 (or Wolverine: Weapon X) will claw its way into theatres on March 3rd, 2017.
