‘I can’t wait to see those two go at it’: Tom Holland in the same boat as everyone else when it comes to ‘Deadpool 3’

If there are any Marvel Cinematic Universe alumni to be deemed least likely for an advance screening of Deadpool 3, then Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo would be near the top of the list given their shared propensity for accidentally dropping major spoilers.

While they’ve both leaned into that reputation – one which is fully deserved, it should be noted – the erstwhile Peter Parker has nonetheless laid his cards on the table during an interview with Forbes and outlined his excitement for the upcoming odd couple adventure starring Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson and Hugh Jackman’s Logan, and it’s a sentiment shared by every single fan of the franchise.

“Yeah, of course I have. I’m a big fan of both of those guys. I’m sure the film is going to be fantastic. I know they have George Cottle (Jr.) on their side right now as their stunt coordinator and second unit director. You couldn’t ask for a better guy. So I’m very excited for the film. I wish them all the best and I can’t wait to see those two go at it.”

While Holland may be excited for the stuntwork and action sequences, the majority will be awaiting the interplay between Reynolds and Jackman even more. After all, the pair are Hollywood’s most famous frenemies who can’t resist firing shots at each other whenever possible, and the prospect of seeing that happen in a massive MCU blockbuster like Deadpool 3 only serves to make it all the more mouthwatering.

The only downside is that with shooting having only just started, November of next year feels like a million miles away.
