The newest image from Sam Mendes‘ Skyfall has been released, showcasing Daniel Craig as James Bond riding a Honda CRF250R. through the streets of Turkey, where the latest 007 flick is currently shooting. The scene depicted will include the motorcycle that Craig is riding and another bike of the same model, painted as a Turkish Police bike.

The two motorcycles are already on display at the “Bond In Motion” exhibit at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, along with 49 other Bond vehicles.

Personally, I’m a big fan of scenes where Bond hops on a bike. The sequence in Goldeneye where our suave agent (as then played by Pierce Brosnan) rides his bike off a cliff and jumps into a plummeting plane is one of my favorites of all time. As much as I (and everyone) love Bond cars, there is something even more dangerous and exciting about seeing 007 with nothing but air between him and whatever villain he is up against.

It promises to be a good couple months for Bond fans as Skyfall ramps up to its November 9 release date, as we can expect quite a bit more material in the near future. Not only can we look forward to catching a glimpse of the exclusive IMAX trailer (which can only be viewed in theaters), but also the release of the 50th anniversary Blu-ray set which should have every Bond aficionado getting out their Martini shakers.

What do you think of the image? Excited to see Bond on a bike again?
