New Images From Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

Things are really heating up for the upcoming adaptation of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, the paranoid surveillance thriller from acclaimed author John Le Carre. The film is directed by Tomas Alfredson and stars Gary Oldman in the role of George Smiley, an aged agent who is assigned to uncover a Russian mole. In addition to the terrific trailer and moody poster, we now get a better look at the film, which does look fantastic. The grainy imagery really accentuates the 70's period that Alfredson is evoking and it recalls similar 70's set thrillers such as the James Bond films and All the President's Men.
