It’s hard to imagine Marvel would allow our first glimpse of their rebooted take on Spider-Man to come courtesy of a leaked image of a business card – but that might just be what’s happened here.
The above photo of Marvel Editor-In-Chief Axel Alonso’s card found its way online tonight, and was quickly picked up by several outlets. As you can see, it depicts a number of Marvel superheroes, such as Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther and Star-Lord, all wearing costumes exactly like or very similar to the ones donned by their live-action counterparts. The one exception is probably Black Widow, whose outfit much more resembles the comic book incarnation of the character.

So, does that mean Spider-Man will look something like he does here when he debuts in Captain America: Civil War? It’s certainly a possibility – but there’s also every chance that this is just some unrelated artwork that Adi Granov came up with for Alonso’s new card.
We’ll probably find out one way or the other pretty soon, as these things tend to be debunked or confirmed rather quickly. If Spider-Man was to rock a costume like this in the MCU, though, would you be on board with it?
