Slowly but surely, we’re beginning to form a more complete picture about Tom Holland’s debut as Spider-Man in next year’s much-anticipated superhero showdown, Captain America: Civil War. From the character’s extensive role in the threequel to the fact that Holland’s Peter Parker will be 15 when he swings into action, fans are already on the edge of their seats to see Spidey’s brand new debut.

But what about the actual suit? We’ve long heard reports that Marvel is planning to take cues from the source material when designing Holland’s famed red and blue guise, with costume designers even going so far as to describe this particular incarnation as breathtaking. Fast forward to today and Heroic Hollywood has unearthed an all-new nugget of information that could be the biggest hint of the new look to date.

Before delving into details, it’s worth prefacing the image by stating that this report ought to be treated as a rumor for now. With housekeeping out of the way, Heroic Hollywood has claimed that Marvel hosted a private 15-minute screening late last night – presumably with footage from Captain America: Civil War – that featured Holland’s new suit design.

Going one step further, the outlet unveiled the renown Spider-Man logo that appeared on Parker’s suit, which purportedly lifts inspiration from the design found in Spider-Man 62, not to mention the Ultimate Spider-Man Animated Cartoon. Again, nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing, but it’s an aesthetic that isn’t outside the realm of possibility.

Tom Holland will assume the role of Peter Parker when he swings into action for Joe and Anthony Russo’s Captain America: Civil War on May 6, 2016. Shortly thereafter, he’ll really get to flex his muscles in Jon Watts’ 2017 standalone feature, where he could be joined by Miles Morales. Until then, feast your eyes on the purported suit down below.
