Jackass Star Says A Fourth Movie May Still Happen

There's still a chance that the iconic opening words, "Hello, I'm Johnny Knoxville and welcome to Jackass" may be uttered again on the big screen. That's according to former cast member Chris Raab (also known as Raab Himself), who says that a lot of the key players are at least interested in doing Jackass 4.

There’s still a chance that the iconic opening words, “Hello, I’m Johnny Knoxville and welcome to Jackass” may be uttered again on the big screen. That’s according to former cast member Chris Raab (also known as Raab Himself), who says that a lot of the key players are at least interested in doing Jackass 4.

Since their painfully silly times in the limelight ended, each of the death-defying baboons have continued producing cringeworthy content – especially leader Johnny Knoxville, whose latest film Action Point was difficult to watch for other reasons. But Raab has spent a great deal of his time working on his own podcast, Bathroom Break, which launched in 2018.

On it, several members of the Jackass gang, including Bam Margera, Steve-O, Christ Pontius, and Weeman have all been interviewed. And using what he’s gathered from those conversations, Raab spoke to Loudwire about the possibility of Jackass 4. Here’s what he had to say:

“I get the feeling that everyone’s pretty interested in it. I’m not sure that it would ever happen. Ryan [Dunn] was a huge part of that, so it’s sort of weird without him. We’ve got that question about the CKY thing. ‘Is there going to be a CKY 5?’ Nah, that’ll never happen. As far as Jackass, I would think maybe it would happen, but I don’t know ’cause I’m not in that world enough to know. I probably would be [a part of it] if asked … I feel like if [Jeff] Tremaine and Spike [Jonze] and [Johnny] Knoxville said, ‘Hey, let’s do it,’ then I imagine it would go forward. If they were to say it, I don’t think there would be pushback from others.”

Should the project ever become more than a “maybe,” the absence of Ryan Dunn, a key member who was killed in a drunk driving accident in 2011, would surely be felt. But perhaps the group can twist the project into a tribute. After all, if there’s anything these films have taught us, it’s that being an absolute lunatic’s okay, as long as your friends are, too.

We’d like to know though, do you want a Jackass 4? Or do you think the peculiar, but aging group should step aside? Drop us a comment down below.
