Jared Leto Is Still Sending His Suicide Squad Co-Stars “Gifts”

Our new Joker definitely seems to be fully embracing the madness of his iconic Suicide Squad character, as he continues to inflict present gifts to his fellow Task Force X members. First Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) received a live rat, then Will Smith (Deadshot) was sent a box of bullets, and now Jay Hernandez (El Diablo) has to deal with a letter addressed to his character, a deck of Joker playing cars, and whatever the hell is wrapped up in that newspaper!

Hernandez isn’t telling, but it’s a safe bet he won’t be unwrapping some chocolates. His caption on the photo, which he posted on Instagram, reads: “My dear friend The Joker gave me a gift…inside is a glimpse into the mind of a mad man.”

While this doesn’t really reveal anything new about the film, it’s still pretty cool to see the whole cast getting so into their roles here, and the fact that they’re tattooing each other would seem to be an indication that they’re proud of their work – so let’s hope the finished film reflects all of that.

Suicide Squad also stars Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, and Adam Beach as Slipknot. The movie is set to hit theaters next August.
