For those who saw critical darling The Artist last year (or any of the awards ceremonies that followed), you’re already very much aware that Dujardin has a limited grasp on Engligh, to say the least. Luckily for the Frenchman, his role in The Wolf Of Wall Street is that of “a suave Swiss banker” who launders money for DiCaprio’s character, so a thick accent should be of no concern.

The Wolf Of Wall Street will tell the true life story of the rise and fall of a drug-addicted New York City stockbroker (DiCaprio) who refuses to cooperate in a large securities fraud case involving corruption in his firm.

Even with his speech barriers, Dujardin proved himself an immensely likable lead with great screen presence (even without uttering a phrase in any language). With Scorsese directing and a plethora of stellar actors surrounding him, cinema-goers Stateside should find a lot to appreciate in the rising star.

Shooting for The Wolf Of Wall Street stars up this summer for a 2013 release.
