John Cena gives off some serious Ken-ergy vibes in behind-the-scenes ‘Barbie’ image

We couldn't possibly love him more.

From years of body slamming muscular competition during his WWE days to serving as one of the brightest figures in modern-day DC, there’s not much that megastar John Cena won’t do at this point. Interestingly enough, the acclaimed performer continues to embrace that mentality on a daily basis, with Cena even agreeing to sign on for Greta Gerwig’s fantasy spectacle Barbie. And if you think you’ve seen it all from Cena, then your mind is about to be blown.

Just a little over a week shy of Barbie rocketing into theaters, a new behind-the-scenes image is electrifying the internet. But when you consider the fact that the image is of John Cena sporting a blonde wig, wearing a stylish necklace made of various seashells, and giving off serious Ken-ergy, then it hardly comes as a major surprise that folks are eating the content up like hotcakes. Despite how campy Cena looks as “Kenmaid,” the wrestler-turned-actor had plenty of positive things to say about Barbie, insisting that the movie will spark plenty of conversation and prove to have a long-lasting impression on those who appreciate the true beauty of cinema.

Of course, with the upcoming film being pitted against Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, there’s simply no denying that Barbie definitely has some expectations to live up to. But for a movie that cast John Cena as a beautiful mermaid, then it feels fair to say our expectations will certainly be met.

Don’t miss Barbie when it lands in theaters on July 21.
