The rumor mill is churning and this time I hope it’s true. A source for Life & Style magazine is reporting that Jude Law is in talks to star in Maleficent. The part he’s up for is Stefan, the half-human, half-fairy father of Sleeping Beauty.
What a delicious treat that would be for fans everywhere. Law starred alongside Angelina Jolie in Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow and to see them together on screen in Maleficent would be great. Talk about eye candy!
Casting for the live-action fairy tale continues but so far, Jolie is in the title role, Elle Fanning is reportedly in talks to play Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Patrick Stewart may have been already offered the role of King Henry and, both Judi Dench and Emma Thompson are rumored to be in consideration for the part of Flittle.
