New Justice League Featurette Bundles Together Some Concept Art, Cast Interviews And A Sliver Of Footage

Five weeks out from release, AT&T has premiered its exclusive featurette for Justice League, which comes packing some stunning concept art.

We’ve waited an awful long time – too long, perhaps – for Justice League to come together on the big screen, but with little over five weeks standing between now and release, DC fans are beside themselves with excitement.

Said to herald a big change in tone – compared to Batman V Superman, at least – along with an “epic” sense of scale, it’s fair to say that Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon’s mega-budget ensemble movie is poised to become one of the most significant releases of 2017. Because like it or lump it, film fans will be talking about Justice League for years to come, regardless of how the final product shakes out.

In the glass-half-full scenario, and providing Justice League skates around the same pitfalls that crippled Suicide Squad and the aforementioned Dawn of Justice, Snyder’s long-awaited crossover will help the DC Extended Universe reach new heights, particularly as it’ll be building on the momentum of Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman movie. Make a few wrong turns, though, and Justice League will go down as one of the most expensive misfires in modern film history.

But in the interest of staying positive, AT&T has premiered a wonderful new featurette (via CBM) that comes packing concept art, a sliver of new footage, and interviews with the film’s leading heroes: Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Flash (Ezra Miller).

With Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor still listed on the cast sheet and news of a slightly reworked relationship between Darkseid and Steppenwolf, comic book fans (us included!) are currently counting down the days until Justice League‘s release on November 17th. It is, without question, the biggest and most important DCEU movie to date, so it’ll be fascinating to see how its box office total compares to that of Wonder Woman‘s ($821 million) in five weeks’ time.
