It may look like every Jason Statham movie ever made all mashed into one but I’ll be damned if the upcoming film Killer Elite doesn’t look like one hell of a fun ride. Along with Statham, Robert De Niro and Clive Owen will take starring roles and supporting members include Dominic Purcell from Prison Break and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje from LOST.
Jason Satham movies are always fun. They’re usually all the same but the man is good at what he does and I’ve never not enjoyed one of his films. Killer Elite looks no different. It’s pure action and will undoubtedly be the perfect thrill ride to kick some life into the fall movie season, which usually consists of Oscar bait films that aren’t too heavy on the action
Don’t expect huge things in the way of plot or character development but if you’re expecting a bloody good time, Killer Elite will likely meet your expectations.
