Kylo Ren Featured On New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Motion Poster

With just days – DAYS! – to go until the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a brand new motion poster has been unveiled for the movie which puts the spotlight on the villainous Kylo Ren. Little is known about the character right now, but speculation continues to run rampant that he may have a very famous surname (Ren is actually a title given to him because of his allegiance with the mysterious Knights of Ren).

Regardless, Kylo’s vicious looking crossguard lightsaber has had Star Wars fans talking since the second it was revealed, and the villain’s association with Darth Vader – he has the charred remains of his helmet and a serious obsession with the former Sith Lord – means that expectations are high for him to be an iconic part of the franchise moving forward.

Whether or not that ends up being the case remains to be seen, but there’s no denying that this poster is very cool, and it certainly gives Kylo Ren the appearance of a bad guy we should be keeping a very close eye on as Finn, Rey and the rest of the Resistance look to take him and The First Order down.

Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be released on December 18th, 2015.
